Meet Buttercup, a 7 year old OTTB who was living at an illegal
horse slaughterhouse in NJ!
Starved to death for the past 6 months for the purpose of creating "lean meat," a
delicacy for the lions and tigers at the zoos, Buttercup was slated to "meet the bullet"
next ... until her life was saved and she was brought to Gray Dapple TAP!
Buttercup loved her photo shoot with Paulie ... and is looking forward to another
one this Thanksgiving after she fattens up a bit. Buttercup is sound and after
extensive rehabilitation she will be adopted out as children's riding horse.
